Hi folks,

I am trying run linux 2.0.34 kernel on my new system based on
the ASUS P2B-LS board with Adaptec AIC-7870 onboard SCSI controller.

I recompiled the kernel (2.0.34) with the support for AIC-7xxx
enabled but after I try to run it no scsi hosts are recognized.

What is the status of the support for these controllers? Are there any
patches for 2.0.34 kernel or should I try 2.1.xx kernels?

Thanx,
K.
