Howdie,
I get an IO-Error and a MEDIUM Error on two scsi-2 harddisks. These
harddisks aren't essential and I don't put sensitive information on it, so
I wish to relocate these thingies. There's supposed to be this active bad
sector list on every scsi disk.
How to do that under Linux? Is there a command to rescan the disk? Do/Will
I lose data when relocating bad sectors?
Perhaps a low-level format will help, but how do I do that? And is it
dangerous?
