I have two 2.2Gb Barracuda's with SCA-2 interfaces off of a aha2940. I'm
mostly happy with them, with a few exceptions. First, the adapter is a
bit unwieldy, as it has to accomodate a power connection and jumper
settings as well as your ribbon cable. Second, for reasons I haven't
been able to puzzle out, the two I have get pretty flaky unless I turn off
the wideness in the 2940's bios. I've also noticed that these guys tend
to be priced lower than other disks.
