Reeks of one of those rotten termination problems.

From the LILO docs: 
	"The first stage boot loader was able to load the second stage boot
loader, but has failed to execute it. This can either be caused by a
geometry mismatch or by moving /boot/boot.b without running the map
installer".

Yes. The BIOSs on those SCSI cards seem to use different mappings. Check the
BIOS settings on the "new" card for adjustments.

Do you have Caldera/MS DOS or Windows 95 installed on the same machine? If
so, you might give LOADLIN a try. You might also try putting your kernel
(that one supporting both SCSI host adaptor cards) to a disk and install
LILO on disk to boot from disk. Check out the extensive LILO documentation
in /usr/doc/packages/lilo, it is really good. In the version 20 docs, you
will want to read p. 37/chapter 4.1.6 "Floppy disk installation" in
particular.

After you have created such a kernel boot floppy disk, try booting from
that, if it succeeds, try to execute /sbin/lilo and booting from hard disk.
