The Tempests appear to operate correctly with the 301B firmware.
Neither the Tempest nor the Stratus drives have a very good
implementation of tagged queuing, so limiting the queue depth won't
have much effect on performance.
Can you suggest any other disk brand of similar price and better
performance?
