I'm using the same patches with 486DX2-66, AHA-2842 and a Quantum Empire 1080
with no problems. I haven't tried it with the PCI version. Before the aic7xxx
patches (the first ones from last year) I couldn't use the Quantum Empire at all,
and we also had problems with the AHA-2940. But now we're using a DEC harddisk
so I can't report on whether it has the same problem with the AHA-2940 and
the Empire.
