Hi,
I got the aic7xxx.tgz from remus.nrl.navy.mil 2 days ago. I was so
excited to test it out! When I boot my box with the boot image provided
in the archive, it hang after synchronising with my harddisk. The
following message were on the screen:
aic7xxx : target 0 was synchronous at 8.0Mb/s
scsi : aborting command due to timeout : pid 0, scsi0, id 0, lun 0 Test
Unit Ready 00 00 00 00 00
Then I try to reboot and the AHA-2940 seem not responsing to any command.
I had no idea what's going wrong! Could you give me some hints? I had to
reset my bios as well as the controller card in order to make it work
again.
My machine configuration : Intel 486DX2-66, AHA-2940, Quantum Empire 1080s,
Sony CDU-55S and a generic S3 video card.
Thanks in Advance
