Hi Jun.  I had a similar problem to what you have right now.  You should
also check the SCSI-HOWTO as well as the Hardware-HOWTO.  Some of the
information is in conflict.  You will notice in the former document that
there is no mention of the newer controller.  If you want to hack this,
try calling Future Domain and finding out which controller accepts
similar commands.  I had good luck with this technique for a Future 
Domain card that was not in the former document.  Eric

Hi, during booting slackware 2.2, I noticed "scsi: 0" which is explained
in one the howto's as an indication that hard disk is not detected. Following
the instructions, I tried to tell the kernel the existing hardwares, but
keep getting "unable to locate /dev/sda" when I apply the fdisk.

The configuration I have is Fujistu 530 MB, Future Domain TMC-3260
controller (supported according to Hardware-HOWTO), while the window's OS
is on an IDE 730 MB connected to a DTC controller. Both controllers are
using PCI slots and both drives are recognized by dos and window.
