Hi, during booting slackware 2.2, I noticed "scsi: 0" which is explained
in one the howto's as an indication that hard disk is not detected. Following
the instructions, I tried to tell the kernel the existing hardwares, but
keep getting "unable to locate /dev/sda" when I apply the fdisk.

The configuration I have is Fujistu 530 MB, Future Domain TMC-3260
controller (supported according to Hardware-HOWTO), while the window's OS
is on an IDE 730 MB connected to a DTC controller. Both controllers are
using PCI slots and both drives are recognized by dos and window.

Please some one give me some hints about solving the problem, so that I
could become a Linuxer. Thanks in advance.
