Hi!
Of course I know that software RAID is 'not' reliable yet in Linux,
but I was talking about hardware RAID. This way I still would like to
know about someone that has used it, and if someone can tell me about
his experience with hardware RAID on Linux. For what I've been able to
find the main contenders are Adaptec (3985W) and DPT (PM3334). They
both provide RAID5 support. Do you think it's a good choice? I'm also
a bit messed with Ultra, Wide, XXX Scsi. I would like to use the
fastest, and for what I've read I think that it's Ultra Wide Scsi and
both controller support it. Am I wrong? Thank you very much to
everybody for your time.
