attach hangs when used for afs filesystems on non-athena ultrix
machines, so we have a symlink /mit/sipb -> /afs... it was out of date
and pointed at the athena cell. since i could see the fonts
directories, and the fact that there are two different sipb lockers
with dissimilar contents didn't occur to me, it took a long time to
figure out the problem. if there are two sipb cells, it is imperative
that they both have the same logical contents. it doesn't matter if
you do this with symlinks to other things, but it has to happen or the
locker can potentially do more harm than good.
