what's involved in getting symbol fonts built for slitex previewing
under xdvi? i'm using slitex to create video screens with text
involving both superscripting and symbols (greek letters, math, etc.).
if there's a better solution, i'm very open to changing how i create
the screens; what I need is letters and symbols typeset in fonts up to
an inch or so high on the screeen. also, what's the best way to get
an unslanted greek letter in roman text under tex? i need a symbol
for microns, and the slanted mu is causing local mac-heads to sneer,
and rightly so...
