Bruce knows about xtechinfo.
I haven't been made aware of anything that would break xtechinfo between
7.7 and 8.0. Try it. I'm pretty sure it will work.
I would try it myself on mwhitson's sgi in the zone if I knew how to get
the monitor out of power save mode.
