A while back we purchased a couple of the GPO tapes containing sections
of the Code of Federal Regulations, having been told they were ASCII
format. When we looked at the tapes, we found they also contain
markup codes. Not having the manpower, etc. to cope with this, we
set them aside. The question about using the tapes is now being raised
again, so I would like to ask if anyone is using the GPO CFR tapes,
and if so, how you got them into formatted text files. Any other
comments, experiences would also be appreciated. Please reply to
