          WHAT: NYSERNet'92: Network Access for All --
                Learn, Teach, Collaborate
                September 24-25, 1992

                The first New York State conference focused on computer
                networking and worldwide information resources.

          WHO:  Sponsored by NYSERNet (the New York State Education and
                Research Network), for New York professionals in K-12 schools,
                colleges, libraries, library organizations, state-funded
                technology organizations, state agencies, and private-sector
                companies and corporations.

          WHEN: Thursday, September 24, 1992
                - Choose sessions from 4 tracks: education, libraries,
                  network technologies, and tools for collaboration.
                - Sessions include topics for novice and experienced network
                  users, technical staff, and senior-level administrators as
                  well as topics on non-technical issues related to
                  networking.

                Friday, September 25, 1992
                - Participate in hands-on tutorials on such topics as mining
                  the Internet, planning and managing a network, and new-user
                  training.
                - Meet with the NYSERTech users group.
                - Attend an open meeting of the NYSERNet Board of Directors.

          WHERE: Thursday sessions at the New York Marriott Marquis.
                 Friday tutorials and meetings at New York University.
