Project Gutenberg is compiling basic, fundamental information on:

listservers
fileservers
gateways
internet
bitnet
email
gopher (gofer)
nngrab
nngrep
nnr1
archie
etc,

to go with our blurbs on ftp, telnet, etc.

If you are an apprentice, journeyman, master, guru or wizard in
any of these categories, we would love to have you submit a few
paragraphs about any of the above. The combined efforts are to
be updated from time to time and released as:

"The Children's Guide to the Internet"

This is not meant to be an in depth or scholarly approach, more
like the "One Minute Manager" type approach to getting a person
through the door, gateway, etc. with just enough information to
be able to look around and get something and get out; perhaps a
little advice on how to get unlost and things like that, but an
amount of information the average novice user could absorb with
no more than 10 minutes' effort (on each subject).
