If there are any Canadians listening on PACS-L who know of a newsgroup or
mailing list discussing Project CANARIE (Canadian Network for the Advancement
of Research, Industry and Education), would you post access details to
PACS-L@UHUPVM1.UH.EDU or PACS-L@UHUPVM1.BITNET.
The Business Planning Framework: Report of the Business Plan Working Group
(January 1992) is available from Tess McLean, Ernst & Young Management
Consultants, PO Box 251, Royal Trust Tower, Toronto-Dominion Centre, Toronto,
CANADA M5K 1J7; fax: 416-361-4747.
Part of the Project CANARIE goals and objectives are to "accommodate the needs
of the existing CA*net community and provide them with a growth path to
expanded capabilities" (p. ii).
Appendix A of this document is titled "Selected Major Networks Throughout the
World" and is a good, readable overview of research, education & experimental
networking initiatives.
