I have wondered whether the Internet would strip emotion and
petty feelings from human intellectual intercourse because of the nature
of the electronic interface. It seems not. Now we have an ASCII-like
character set for users to display their emotions along with their words.
And low and behold we have users taking a personal dislike to each other.
Which raises the question ? Do thought/ideas stimulate emotions/feelings
or emotions/feelings leed to the formulation of thought ? I thought the
Internet use experience might give some insight. Has it ?
