The IFLA UBCIM Programme and the Permanent UNIMARC Committee, jointly=20
with the Division of Bibliographic Control, are organising a half-day
workshop=20
on "UNIMARC in Transition" to be held on the 20th August between 13.30 and=
=20
17.30 during the 64th IFLA General Conference in Amsterdam.
Speakers include:
Brian Holt, British Library, presenting "UNIMARC on the Web"
Mirna Willer, National and University Library, Croatia, explaining how=20
UNIMARC/Authorities will change as a result of reports from several working=
=20
groups and projects
Bohdana Stoklasova, National Library of the Czech Republic,=20
Dominique Lahary, Biblioth=E8que d=E9partementale du Val d'Oise, France=20
and Vladimir Skvortsov & Irina Tsvetkova, National Library of Russia, St
Petersburg,=20
presenting UNIMARC applications and users' experiences in their respective
countries.
It is hoped that attendees will wish to discuss the matters raised at this=
=20
Workshop.
