ALA International Relations Round Table Reception

International Librarians

This year's International Reception will be held in the first
floor courtyard at the newest of the World Bank buildings at
1818 "H" Street, NW, Washington, DC 20433.
This dramatic courtyard, designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates,
houses a breathtaking 28-foot waterfall within a spectacular
178-foot high atrium topped with a 30,000 square foot skylight.
The courtyard is decorated with flags from around the world
emphasizing the World Bank's international mission.
The reception will feature hot and cold hors d'oeuvres
and a bar with wines, beers, sodas and waters.
We invite you to take this unique opportunity to network with
information professionals from around the world.
TICKETS:
Each international librarian will receive a complimentary ticket upon
registration at the American Library Association Annual Conference
in Washington, D.C.
U.S. librarians MUST purchase tickets in advance either through the
ALA International Relations Office or at the Meal Ticket Desk
at the Annual Conference by Sunday, June 28.
NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.
For reasons of security, each person attending the reception
MUST BRING A PHOTO ID.
