ILLiad, Virginia Tech's public access, ILL borrowing system, is now
available for licensing through Virginia Tech Intellectual Properties
(VTIP). You can see the public face of ILLiad at
http://www.ill.vt.edu/
Anyone wishing to see ILLiad in action to learn how it enhances the
customer's ILL experience is welcome to visit Virginia Tech's ILL
Department. We will be pleased to provide help to any library wishing to
test or implement ILLiad.
Technical details are best answered by Jason Glover (jglover@vt.edu).
You may contact VTIP directly through

One of the staff efficiency features added to ILLiad in the past few weeks
is automated OCLC searching.
ILLiad has allowed Virginia Tech's ILL Department to eliminate several tens
of thousands of paper records.
ILLiad allowed us in October to do all processing for more than 3,000 ILL
borrowing requests with slightly more than 2 FTE staff.
