Telecommuting is becoming a viable option for many
people these days. Many of our institutions are providing
employees with the means to work at home or at a work-site
closer to home. Come join the LITA Telecommunications IG
for a presentation and discussion of Telecommuting.

307 Telecommuting and the Remote Work Site
In the first part of the program, five speakers will
present different aspects of telecommuting focusing on
options available from a service provider, the process one
goes through getting ISDN installed at home, an overview of
the CUSeeMe project at the University of Michigan, the
experience of a telecommuter, and supervising a
telecommuter. The second part of the program will leave
time for discussion and audience participation. Please
come to this program with your questions, ideas, and
experiences.
