                 LECTURER or ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
                         (ONE POSITION)


Appointment, rank and salary commensurate with qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Exciting opportunity at a 4-year urban liberal
arts college to work with librarians and faculty in all disciplines
in identifying and acquiring appropriate educational technologies
to support and enhance the curriculum, and in training faculty and
students in the application of these new technologies in the
library and outside.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Creativity and ability to identify opportunities
and solve problems; experience in teaching; excellent oral and
written communication skills; ability to work closely with
personnel and students.  Experience with educational and relevant
computer technologies, including Internet, cd-rom and multi-media
applications.

FOR APPOINTMENT AS LECTURER:
     Baccalaureate degree, preferably in Computer/Information
Science or Educational Technology, and appropriate work experience
with educational technology in a college environment.  ALA-
accredited MLS or equivalent preferred.
SALARY:  $27,454 - $45,499 commensurate with experience and
qualifications.  Twelve-month position.

FOR APPOINTMENT AS ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Tenure Track):
     ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent and second master's required;
Ph.D. preferred.
SALARY:  $29,931 - $52,213 commensurate with experience and
qualifications.  Twelve-month position.
