Beth, see http://www.nlc-bnc.ca/amicus/access/eamidemo.htm for an example of
a "library menu" that contains information (and an executable file) to
provide access to a demo of our db search service, Access AMICUS. AMICUS is
the bilingual fee-based information system of the National Library of
Canada. The Library s search service, Access
AMICUS, allows Canadian libraries and researchers to search the AMICUS
database. The downloadable demo is for the latter.

Does anyone know of some examples of library menus
that allow access to varied resources such as CD-ROMs, executable
programs, and web pages through one menu? I would like to
be able to look at examples. I would also appreciate any
feedback from people who have used or attempted to use this
approach. We are just beginning to look at this and would
benefit from your experiences.
