I got the mouse working on keesh (by installing the 1.0.9 kernel).
Previously, serial was just not working at all.
I've discovered that for some unknown reason, the detection of the
serial ports occasionally stops working. You can
see this by doing a "setserial /dev/cua0" and seeing the
the UART type is unknow. If this happens, power cycling seems
to fix the problem.
Many things still do not work. Dash terminates immediatly
without printing an error and without doing anything.
Xconsole flakes out because it can't find some fonts with the
width and height it needs.
For a good time, start up xlogin (telinit 6), then log in as
yourself. While waiting to be logged in, do ctl-alt-bkspc
to kill X. When it comes back up, you'll get xlogin again.
However, your previous login session is still alive and
will pop your window manager around the xlogin window.
When the "Welcome To Athena" screen saver comes up, it will
be decorated by your windowmanager as well.... =)
