I have spare lists here and there, but I'm not sure what this list
would be for...

  Meanwhile: a discussion between warlord, mib, and I brought up the
  point that we can't distribute an encumbered AFS port to Linux (it
  wasn't clear it limiting it to MIT would make it legally possible, but
  it'd still be problematic). 

Why?  If you say `Copylefted kernel' I'll say `dynamic loading'.

 I think we'd better stick to NetBSD for hopes of an AFS client.
