The program 'version' doesn't print all of /etc/athena/version,
but I believe just the last line of the file that contains the word
"Version" (garry correct me here). So just running the program
'version' will never tell you what program was used to isntall
the machine unless it is listed in the actual version line.
Since the kludgey script relies on the user to actuyally update
/etc/athena/version before they can take an athena update
replacing the word 'layered' with the word 'kludgey' will hepl
distinguish between users who somehow layered their machines
by hand and people using your installer.
