The kludgey installer really really (no really) needs
to use something tha tisn't the word 'Layered' in
/etc/athena/version
'Layered' could mean any of several different install
methods many of which are entirely deprecated and
unsupported. Please make it say something else. Then
we will at least know to tell users where to go when they
have problems.
