Are you installing the last 9.0 'layered' rpms or something
from 9.0.9? None of the rpms referenced in the list
/afs/athena/system/control/list-## should have anythign in
them that enters a 'layered' line unless I am very very confused.
(Also note that that sort of line will stop a machine from taking
updates -- I think you say that in your install instructions though).
IMHO it would be worthwhile to not install the 'layered' rpms and
actually install the ones from the actual non-layered control list.
