Err, my understanding is that this well never work with 6.2, though
it will work with 7.1 if the BIOS is hunky-dory.

Given that SIPB's installer installs Athena redhat 6.2, it won't
be unecessariyl limitting.

Is my analysis here incorrect?

I don't know anything about what has to happen for this to take place,
but I'm under the impression it is predicated on Athena doing so, and
that one could not expect it in the timeframe of the 'next few weeks,'
which is when it seems to me such an issue should be resolved.
