I installed /usr/lib/sendmail from the source tree in /usr/athena/src.
I installed the athena sendmail.cf in /etc. Sending email now sort of
works -- comp and repl work. Also, explicitly running
"/usr/lib/sendmail username" works. Strangely, sending email from
emacs (M-x mail, ^c^c) doesn't work. Also, "mhmail" doesn't work.

This may be relevant: I haven't installed any command-line interface
to mail (we have no /bin/mail). If that's needed to make emacs-mail
work, then someone should find a good version of it and install it...

"Resnet goes live" RSN... Can't you just feel the tension mounting?
(Me neither.)

Have a nice day.
-Sal.
