I nuked Slackware 1.1.0 from /mit/linux, because Slackware 1.1.1 has
been around long enough to be considered stable and newer and better.
As some of you remember, Slackware 1.1.1 is actually kept in the sls
volume. So, nuking 1.1.0 left the slackware volume completely empty.
I wanted to do something with this space, so I created
/mit/linux/debian, and stored it in the slackware volume.
Not that I'm saying that the linux volumes should be cleaned up. :-)
Some notes about /mit/linux/debian:
1) It's not world readable. It's readable to linux-dev. If anybody
else wants read access, email me and I'll add you to the acl.
2) For now, I only wanted the base system (I'm installing it on my
tiny little home computer), so I didn't yet ftp the "extra" disks of
the distribution. That is, /mit/linux/debian/binary/extra is empty,
but will be filled up sometime.
Have a nice day.
