We are running a beta version of Debian. There have been one or two
releases of Debian since we installed it. The maintainer of Debian
asks that it's not publically mirrored anywhere until he says it's out
of Beta. When that happens, we should mirror it because it's good.
I kind of like having all those other distributions around, but I
wouldn't object to nuking SLS, MCC, and Tamu.
By the way, I'd kind of like to see the debian-linux list archived in
a discuss meeting... Is there any interest in that?
