Well, for starters, I think this is an issue for individual locker
maintainers, not linux-dev...  In any lockers that I help maintain, I
prefer to simply erase any a.out executables I come across (and I've
done this in a few lockers).  If you want to go through the effort of
keeping and wrapping the executables, go ahead...
