In preparation for the upcoming SAP gui upgrade.... we've been upgrading
our machines to service pack 6 and making sure that IE v5 is installed on
the machine. (Realize that web page says SP5, but since we need to touch
the machines... we are going to SP 6)
Now when we open some existing Excel sheets, the sheet no longer looks the
same. The font looks different. I know that service packs tend to
add/replace fonts, so I can almost understand the font looking different.
What I cannot understand is that the column widths and row heights are
different. This is very bothersome. And I'm not talking about just a
little bit wider, but I'm talking a lot wider.
Any one else seen this? Have solution? Looked a little around the MS
Office site but didn't see anything that seemed to be related. Oh yea..
one other thing... I see this change in Office 97 and in Office 2000.
