CONSULTANT I, Information Systems-Business Liaison Team, to join a team
of knowledgeable,
customer-oriented individuals who support MIT's departments, labs, and
centers in their use of MIT's business applications. Will assist MIT
customers with business uses of informationtechnology via telephone,
e-mail, and in-person consultations as appropriate; provide customer
support for the implementation of business applications including SAP,
SAPweb, ECAT, Roles, the Data Warehouse, and others as they are added
to the BLT domain; work closely with support teams within IS and across
the Institute providing quality customer service; and develop and
maintain good working relationships with the staff in MIT's central
business offices and administrative units. REQUIREMENTS: a bachelor's
degree or equivalent education and experience and customer service and
troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of Macintosh and Windows
platforms required; as is experience with MIT business applications
including SAP, SAPweb, ECAT, Roles, and BrioQuery. Recent MIT
experience preferred. Seek an agile learner who is able to solve
customer problems, communicate effectively with users at various levels
of experience, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
