Let's not confuse all of Easy CD with Direct CD. I''ve used Easy CD, win2k
and NAI a lot and without much trouble. DirectCD is an add on product that
is installed seperately and in addition to EasyCD and yes it doesn't work
and can be real difficult to recover from. We've found that NT's remote
administration was the only way to get in and avoid reinstallation. In
addition to removing cdr4csd.sys, I've had to remove all references to cdr4
from the registry just to get normal CD drives to reinstall and work
properly.
