Hi,
I'm trying to put a login notice on a WNT 4.0. It is put in
Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
Key: Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Winlogon
Name: LegalNoticeText
and the type is REG_SZ.
I'm trying to make it a multi-line notice, and not having much success.
I have consulted the TechNet 'Technical Information' CDROM, and the best I
was able to come up with was an article (Q238149) which tells one to enter
the notice all on one line then edit in binary mode to insert 0D00,
carriage return, where ever you need it.
Isn't there an easier way?
