My suggestion and question is how will Windows 2000 be implemented and when
into MIT's environment. Also what training opportunities, similiar to those
we had for learning Windows NT 4.0, will be provided.
Partially this is a concern due to the recent info on Windows 2000 MCSE
track requirements. Check out:

In particular:
"If you've passed the three following exams, then you can take exam 70-240,
Microsoft Windows 2000 Accelerated Exam for MCPs Certified on Microsoft
Windows NT 4.0:
70-067, Implementing and Supporting Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0
70-068, Implementing and Supporting Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0
in the Enterprise
70-073, Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 4.0
Then you'll need to take one of the core exams listed in Table B, plus two
of the elective exams listed in Table C. One caveat: if you plan to become
a Windows 2000 MCSE by using these three exams, be aware that Microsoft
plans to retire the Windows NT 4.0 exams on December 31, 2000. This means
you'll need to satisfy the requirements for becoming a Windows 2000 MCSE by
that date."
For example, the three courses above were offered at MIT via itpartners and
many were planning to take the corresponding exams. But given the following
info, and if you did intend to get your MCSE, what is your advice from an
MIT perspective for next steps.
