This Saturday evening, March 9,
from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM
the Boston Vegetarian Society will host a vegetarian potluck
at the home of Davida Block at
103 Pleasant Street, Cambridge

(near Cambridgeport, but close enough to Central Square,
Cambridge, for you to walk).

Ideally, all food would be vegan, and if you could in any
way manage that (food free of any animal ingredients -
free of flesh, fish, fowl, eggs, dairy, honey, alcohol -
please bring a food contribution sufficient to feed
8-10 hungry vegans (you're going to be chowing down, too.

There will be special guests and lots of fun.

The weather hasn't cooperated, and we were looking
forward to nice weather, a large porch and a back yard,
etc.

Davida's husband, Myron, has been an inventor
of medical research equipment for many, many decades.
He has invented many, many devices.

He develops NONINVASIVE research equipment
that has already eliminated the use of animals in
a number of types of inquiry. You will get to see
some of the equipment that he is currently toying with.

Davida and Myron have three children, including
one daughter who is a lawyer for HSUS
(formerly with PETA).

PLEASE plan to attend - and something original that
will be tasty and satisfying. The Blocks will
supply the plates and utensils, although
you might wish to bring your own cup or mug.

Saturday, March 9 - 103 Pleasant Street, Cambridge
617-864-7006

Drivers - park in the Computer land ? parking lot and
walk north (Pleasant Street is one way going towards
Central Square).

Public Transportation users - either go to Central
Square, Cambridge, and walk towards the River,
OR take the 47 bus towards the river.

If you don't know the MBTA in that area, walk.

YOU NEED NOT BE A MEMBER OF BVS TO ATTEND.
All persons of good will are invited
                to attend/participate/eat/socialize.
