and he is both right and wrong. He is right in stating that your body needs
cholesterol to function, but he is wrong (as far as I'm aware) in stating that
you need to consume it.
Statement: There is *no* cholesterol in any plant product that I have ever
heard of.
Question: If this is the case, where do the animals get it so they can pass
it on to us?
Answer: Their bodies manufacture it.
Point: So do we.
I've never heard of someone with a cholesterol deficiency and I've never seen
cholesterol supplements anywhere. These would be necessary for vegans if our
bodies didn't make what we needed because, again, cholesterol is only found
in animal products.
