Unfortunately, the most useful piece of information here would be the
contents of /boot/grub/grub.conf from before the upgrade. But Red Hat
doesn't seem to save that anywhere.
Failing that, the contents of /var/athena/update.log would be mildly
useful, but I doubt I can determine much from them.
