Alas, I cannot.
Here is as much as I know:
Brian Murphy came to Owls and reported Roger as having reported, "My
SunBlade100 was fine until I rebooted it." Brian further reported that
a house call made to Roger's office turned up, "The only thing I changed
was to connect it up to the UPS." At Owls I heard Brian say that "When
we unplugged the UPS from the parallel port, everything was fine."
Having assumed the relevant folks on Testers had heard the rest of the
story, I filled in the info I got from chatting with Roger that his UPS
was plugged into the serial port.
Summary of the problem as I inferr the events:
Roger set up his SunBlade 100.
Presumably it was powered from the UPS, but the power-chute software was
inactive because the UPS was not connected to the serial port.
Roger connected the UPS to the serial port.
On the next reboot there was NO display on the monitor connected to the
Expert3D-Lite card.
Does this help?

P.S. We should try and figure out how to improve on this insane
telephone game when something goes wrong on a system installed by
Brian's team.
