Roger dropped by this afternoon and clarified his console problem:
He plugged the UPS into the SERIAL port, not the parallel port.
Having the machine suddenly decide it's console is a SERIAL line makes
rather more sense. Is this something we can disable?
Do we need to slap Sun? It seems RATHER wrong that we have to work so
hard to get the console to be the Elite3D-Lite card only to have it
trivially ignored when something is plugged into the serial port.
