Sure, I'll buy this. I patched remote.sync to bring the two relevant
.so's local and pushed the change into /mit/mkserv/services/9.0/.
Note that most of the mkserv services for 9.0 are still symlinks back
to the 8.4 version; I'll fix this and tag the mkservdev services when we
go into early.
