So, I looked into the larvnet issue a bit more. xlogin appears to
send status packets as one would expect (twice on SGIs... dunno if I
ever figured that one out), and with the right contents.
But the sipb cluster is definitely not looking so happy. There were
zero out of one free O2s listed at 17:09 today, even though oliver was
last used at 14:59 or earlier. Killing xlogin reset the state.
Even if oliver's status packet got dropped, larvnetd should have
polled it. I'll need to start collecting logs.
