Sure, if for no other reason than nmh is being maintained. Because of
that, though, we could most likely convince Rich Coleman to adopt our
changes if they were ``the Right Thing'', especially since -[no]group
is a new feature.
mh-e will probably need to change anyway; the 20.4 prereleases, at
least, contain few bugs that I've found while converting back to MH
recently (most annoying: don't have mh installed when installing
emacs, and then install nmh with ``--prefix=/usr/local'', and
mh-find-progs will almost certainly fail).
That's why I asked the two separate questions: "is it ``the Right
Thing''?" and "is release willing to do it?".
Incidentally, it might amuse you to note that the 20.4 prerelease
mh-e, at least, implies heavily that nmh changes were added to support
NetBSD. :-)
