The following has happened to me twice now.
First thing in the morning, I ktelnet from my laptop to my 8.2 Sun.
I get the following:
[wdc@oglala wdc]$ telnet hanta-yo
...including Athena's default telnet options: "-ax"
Trying 18.177.1.170...
Connected to hanta-yo.mit.edu.
Escape character is '^]'.

I log in again immediately and things seem to work.
Something ELSE wierd, though: Last time this happened, the first
command I execute is Xclock (since all my display vars are properly
configged, the xclock comes up just fine.) But tcsh HANGS then, and I
have to ssh in, kill the session and log in a THIRD time.
Well, I just tried the same thing, and it happened AGAIN.
(Side note, I'm ktelnetting in from Linux with an IP address set by DHCP)
