Good Afternoon,
Information Systems is proud to announce the availability and support for
KLP 1.0.1. KLP provides Kerberized printing and queue management for
Athena print services from Windows machines.
Who Should Upgrade and Why
-------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are currently using KLP 1.0.0 and are not running Windows XP, then
you do not need to upgrade. KLP 1.0.1 is needed for Windows XP.
Please note that IS does not at this time support Windows XP and we
recommend that you purchase any new systems with Windows 2000 Professional
instead of Windows XP. An IT Discovery effort is underway to examine how
when IS will support Windows XP. For more information about the effort,

The Windows XP Discovery Team would appreciate input regarding the effect
that the timing of support for XP will have for you. Please send comments

Known Issues and Cautions
-------------------------------------------------------------------
If you have a previous version of KLP installed on your machine, you will
need to uninstall that version using the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel
before installing KLP 1.0.1. Uninstalling and reinstalling will preserve
your existing print queues.
New Features
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The only change in KLP 1.0.1 from KLP 1.0.0 is the fix to work with Windows XP.
