Good afternoon!
Below you will find an update of projects in which the Software Release
Team is currently engaged. With the assistance of team members throughout
the MIT community, we are working toward IS support for the following software:

Fetch 4.0.1 - release effort beginning - Apr 2002
FileMaker Pro 5.5 - release effort beginning - TBD
MAC OS X (10.1.2) - Discovery Project* underway - TBD in 2002
Netscape 6.2 - will re-evaluate in Feb 2002

*The Discovery Projects for Mac OS X and Windows XP are looking to answer
the questions of how, when and what it means to "support" these operating

Note:
These hardware desupport statements are targeted for machines that are used
in a desktop environment to run multiple applications simultaneously, such
as Eudora, Dreamweaver, Netscape and Office. The machines listed above for
desupport can still be useful for web browsing, email and word processing
in some environments.
